Winter Robert Moses Engagement Session | Bay Shore, NY | Kim & Eddie

Kim & Eddie might be two of the most fun and brave people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We met for their beach engagement session on a 30 degree day! They were such champs and spent their time just snuggling and strolling along the frozen beach. They’re amazing!

Kim & Eddie met in highschool. He played basketball and she was on the cheerleading team. Kim describes Eddie as passionate, intelligent, hysterically funny, and kind and loves that he pushes her past her comfort zones, and supports her fully in all her adventures!

Eddie describes Kim as selfless, silly, caring, and loves that she has this amazing ability to make him laugh in any situation.

It was incredible to watch these two. They glow from happiness and gravitate to eachother! I can’t wait for their Heritage Club wedding this Fall.

Central Park Spring Wedding Inspiration Shoot in NYC

For a few weeks, New York is in full bloom with the prettiest pink cherry blossom trees. I was so excited to be a small part of the Brides in Bloom photo shoot organized this year by Mekina Saylor. I got to photograph this beautiful bride and groom right in Central Park in NYC!  An amazing team came together to supply us with perfect hair, amazing makeup, drool worthy gowns and florals and the best part is that the bride is a dear friend and fellow photographer! Yumi & Eric are getting married in October & isn't she one of the prettiest brides you've ever seen?!

I loved exploring the park with these two! They shared the sweetest first look right on the bridge, and snuggled under the cherry blossom trees. Of course no Central Park wedding would be complete without couples portraits on Bow Bridge and Bethesda Terrace.

The amazing team!

Cara & Daniel's Hoboken Engagement Session

hoboken engagement session nj wedding photographer_0006.jpg

Cara & Daniel met on her birthday while out with friends at Green Rock Tap & Grill in Hoboken. So it was only fitting that we revisited the spot where it all started during their engagement session.

From there we toured the cobblestone streets and the breathtaking skyline of the Hoboken waterfront. We were even joined by their precious pup who posed for the camera! Cara & Daniel will be saying "I do" at Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York this November and can not wait to photograph their wedding!

Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury Wedding - Nicole & Brian - N.J. Wedding Photography

Nicole & Brian's wedding at the Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury was magnificent. They were such a sweet and fun couple and I loved witnessing such a joy filled day!

One of my favorite parts of the Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury is the bridal suite! I mean, I wish I could live there. The bridal suite was an absolute dream. There are technically two rooms, one all white space complete with huge windows, the most elegant decor, and an all white fireplace. The second, much larger room  Nicole slipped into her lace wedding dress with the help of her mom and then got ready to join Brian for their first look.

Marissa & Matt: The Ryland Inn. - N.J. Wedding Photographer

Ryland Inn NJ wedding photography

A while back, I had the opportunity to photograph Marissa & Matt's wedding at The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. I had the pleasure of second shooting for Mekina Saylor many times this year and was so lucky to work closely with her amazing couples. This was no exception.

Marissa & Matt's wedding day started with the most perfect weather. It was warm & sunny & they were both super excited and relaxed to be getting married. I loved the detailing on Matt's custom suit and the way he & his mom smiled at each other with so much joy! Marissa's bridesmaids were so attentive and sweet and take a look at their faces when they saw Marissa for the first time as a bride!

Marissa walked half way down the aisle solo, only to be joined by both of her parents for her last few steps towards Matt.  The lush greenery and candlelight created such a warm atmosphere inside the Ryland Inn, while guests enjoyed fire pits, lawn games, and smores on the patio.

The night was wrapped up with some performances by the groomsmen, the bride & her girl scout troop, and a sparkler exit! So fun!

Rachel & Paul's Intimate Long Island Wedding

Rachel & Paul met thirteen years ago when they were both still in high school!  After dating for almost 11 years, Paul asked Rachel to be his wife at the park where they first met. Knowing how important Rachel's family is to her, Paul couldn't have done it alone.  He even flew her sister in from PARIS so that she could be there for the proposal.  Rachel said "YES!"  She would marry Paul, and she would even do it TWICE!

The couple decided to have TWO weddings. One intimate wedding at their church on Long Island where they could be surrounded by their immediate families, and their faith, and a second civil ceremony and reception where they could celebrate with their friends and extended family.

Surrounded by the people that mean the world to them, Rachel and Paul got married at the Church of Saint Patrick in Huntington, Long Island. Rachel walked down the aisle arm in arm with her father, while Paul beamed at the altar.

After exchanging rings and vows, Rachel & Paul strolled through town to Fado, a quaint little Portuguese restaurant where they celebrated with the people that are closest to them.
