Hi! My name is Jennifer Lam & I am a wedding photographer in Long Island, New York. Before I was a photographer, I was a bride.
I "planned" our winter wedding with no clue how weddings worked, and no concept of lighting ( it was 100% dark outside before we even got to our venue!)
At the end of the day, me & Eddie were VERY happily married ( Yay!) and it was the most fun day of our lives! However, there are so many things I would do differently had I known! So many little changes that could have been made that would have allowed us to enjoy the day even more! But heres the thing- how could I have possibly known? I was never married before!
As your photographer, I LOVE being involved in the wedding day magic! Weddings are kind of my thing. Let's work together to make sure you get ALL the beautiful images you deserve- and also a have great time!

I deeply believe in love! I first kissed my husband, Eddie, when I was in junior high! We were married in February of 2014.

I am an over-preparer. I always shoot with TWO cameras at a time & carry extra everything- just incase. =)

Before becoming a photographer, I was a special education teacher. I worked for 5 years teaching kindergarten, first, and second grade. I loved my job and had no intention of doing anything else. After having my first daughter, everything changed.
She was changing so fast & I was no longer okay with letting time pass by undocumented. I began studying photography, something I always loved, and fell head over heels for it.

I believe in the love & power of Jesus Christ. I still can't believe that God has led me here. I can't believe I get to call this my job!

I've got a thing for images with soft muted colors & symmetry! I can't turn down a good arch either!
